Can the renter pay me directly instead of using the website?

To ensure that the rental is confirmed, the renter must pay on Indie Campers. We aim to offer a secure space for Hosts and Travellers to process and receive payments, which covers you against cancellation and vice versa. If you or the renter decide to bypass the website to avoid paying the insurance or the service fee, you may be banned from the website or made to pay an extra fee. The act of bypassing the website goes directly against our Terms and Conditions and by doing so, we could take legal action for compensation. Additionally, by doing so (if you do not have your own hire insurance), in the event of an accident, the rental will not be covered by our Insurance and you will have to pay for all the repairs yourself.
