We believe that Indie Campers and Hosts have a shared responsibility of providing Travellers with a great booking experience. One of the things Travellers value the most is timely responses. As so, we encourage our Hosts to respond to Travellers as soon as possible, which might be done either by answering a question or by responding to a Booking Request. Having the Travellers experience in account, we can’t afford Hosts with Response Rates consistently low. Low response rates will, not only lead to worse performance on search ranking, but also may lead to account suspension. N.B: Your response rate isn't affected by follow-up messages between hosts and guests. You don't have to send the final message in a conversation to maintain your response rate.
