Whether you need to extend your rental, add extra gear, or cancel your plans, our platform allows you to manage your reservation details effectively. Most simple changes can be handled directly through your Client Area or during Online Check-in.
1. How to Access Your Booking
To modify your trip, you must first access your personal portal:
Log In: Click the profile icon in the upper right corner of the website.
Credentials: Ensure you use the same email address used when creating the booking.
Navigate: Select "My Bookings" from the dropdown menu.
Select Trip: Find the relevant trip and click "Manage reservation".
Note: We recommend verifying your documentation in the Client Area as soon as possible to ensure a smooth modification process without delays.
2. Modifying Your Trip
The method for changing your booking depends on the specific detail you wish to adjust.

Drop-off Date and Time
You can adjust your drop-off details through the "Change Reservation" tab.
Extension: Click on your desired new drop-off day on the calendar; only available dates will be selectable.
Time Change: Select a new hour from the dropdown menu to see available slots and their respective costs.
Confirmation: Review the total amount due on the right side of the screen and click "Pay Now".
Adding Extras and Upgrades
You can add equipment or upgrade your protection plan at any time before pick-up.
Self-Service: Navigate to the "Manage Extras" tab in your booking details.
Available Add-ons: You can update additional extras (like bedding or kitchen kits), or your protection plan.
Finalizing: New values will be calculated on the right; click "Pay Now" to confirm.
Restriction: Once you have picked up the vehicle, no further extras can be added or removed from the contract.
Pick-up Date and Location
Pick-up Time: Can be modified during Online Check-in, which is available starting 17 days before pick-up.
Pick-up Date: Changing the start date of your trip requires contacting our support team.
Locations: Changes to pick-up or drop-off cities depend on your modification policy and are generally not possible within 7 days of pick-up.
3. Cancellation Process
If you need to cancel your booking:
Click the "Cancel Reservation" tab within your booking details.
Select the reason for cancellation and choose your refund type in accordance with our policy.
Refunds typically take between 10 and 15 days to appear in your account.
4. Important Policies to Remember
The 48-Hour Rule: All changes are subject to availability; we recommend submitting requests at least 48 hours before pick-up.
Decreased Booking Value: If you decrease the number of days or extras, the Company will not issue a refund for the difference in value.
Marketplace Bookings: If you booked through a private host, you must contact them directly via private message to agree on changes before contacting Indie Campers support with a screenshot of their confirmation.
