Allowed drivers: How many people can drive the campervan?

The number of drivers allowed depends on the protection plan you choose. To see the maximum number of drivers permitted, please visit: Discover Our Protection Plans: What's Covered for You?

You can add additional drivers after booking confirmation, either during online check-in or at the time of pick-up.

Note:

• In the case of more than 1 driver, all drivers need to present and share official and updated documentation at pick-up. To know more about documentation and pick-up activities please visit: Essential Documents and Depot Procedures for Pick-Up

For Marketplace fleet

The number of drivers allowed depends on the type of host:

• If your host is professional: Please contact and agree with the host directly.
• If your host is private: In locations where the Marketplace is available (ES, IT, DE, AT, SE, NL, and FR), you can add up to two drivers by contacting Indie Campers customer support and typing "talk to an agent."
  • Note:
    • Additional drivers are not available for UK bookings at this time.
    • If there are two drivers, both must be present and provide valid, up-to-date documentation at pick-up.
