This page covers how you can pay for your Indie Campers booking and when each payment is due. If a payment didn't go through, see Troubleshooting payment failures.
When and how much you pay
All payments are made online with a valid credit or debit card. We don't accept cash or in-person payments.
- Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- PayPal — available for Indie Fleet bookings.
- Local payment methods — in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands you can also use Sofort, iDeal, or Bancontact. Sofort is available in euro only.

Your Payment Options
Flexible Rate: Customers who select the Flexible Rate benefit from a more adaptable payment and cancellation structure. With this option:
- You book with more than 30 days to your pick up day: A 50% payment is required at the time of booking.
- The remaining 50% is paid 30 days before the trip, either in the client area or online check-in.
- Customers can add the Flexible Rate for an additional fee, which allows them to cancel under the terms specified in the policy.
30 days before the trip:
- We will automatically charge the remaining amount (50% of the booking value) to the same payment method.
- If the payment is successful, we will email the confirmation.
- If your payment fails, you will receive an email so you can provide us with a new payment method. Please make sure you check your emails and take action so we can finalize the payment successfully.
Non-Refundable Rate: If the customer does not choose the Flexible Rate, the booking automatically falls under the Non-Refundable Rate policy, meaning:
- The full payment (100%) is required upfront at the time of booking.
- You will get a 5% refund at any time. (No refund on same-day cancellation)
