To confirm a rental, the Traveller must pay through Indie Campers. We aim to offer a secure space for Hosts and Travellers to process and receive payments, which protects both sides in the event of a cancellation.
If you or the Traveller bypass the platform to avoid the insurance fee or the service fee, you may be banned from the platform or charged an additional fee. Bypassing the platform goes directly against our Terms and Conditions, and doing so may result in legal action for compensation.
If you don't have your own hire insurance, keep in mind that a booking arranged outside the platform won't be covered by Indie Campers' insurance, and you'd be responsible for any repair costs yourself.
