Here's how and when you get paid for your hires, and how to keep your payout details up to date.
-
Payout timing
Your remuneration is sent by bank transfer on the second working day after the hire begins. From there, it can take another 3 to 7 working days to show up in your account, depending on your bank.
-
How your payout is secured
We work with Stripe, which is authorised by the Electronic Money Institution and regulated by the Bank of Ireland. When a Traveller pays the full booking amount online, including our service fees and insurance, your share is held in a Stripe account that Indie Campers cannot access.
-
Keeping your bank details up to date
To receive payouts, add your IBAN and BIC in your Indie Campers profile. This information is secured and used solely to pay you.
If you need to change bank accounts, contact us directly. We handle this manually for security reasons.
-
If a Traveller cancels
You'll be compensated according to the cancellation policy you selected for your listing, except where a compelling reason applies.
What is an IBAN?
An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) identifies bank accounts across the EU, plus Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Hungary, to speed up cross-border payments. It's up to 34 characters: two letters for the bank's home country, two digits as a control key, and up to 30 characters identifying the bank and account.
