Issue Description: Water drains under the vehicle, there is no hot water in the taps and shower
The Anti-frost system is designed to enhance security measures by automatically draining the boiler water tank in instances where external temperatures fall below 5ºC to prevent freezing the water inside the boiler.
When activated, the water will start to drain from the boiler to the outside of the vehicle using a drain valve located under the camper.
Steps to resolve:
Please ensure to check the following two aspects to close the drain valve:
![]() |
|
- Check whether the blue rotary switch (Position 1) is set to “Operation” and is engaged.
- Close the drain valve by pressing the blue push button (Position 2). The push button must engage in the “closed” position.
Only when the temperature at the drain valve is above approx. 7 °C can it be closed manually with the push button (Position 2) and the boiler be filled. At temperatures below 7 °C, it is recommended to switch on the vehicle heater in order to warm up the interior.
Location of the FROST CONTROL valve:
NOMAD, JOA, CARADO and GRAND CALIFORNIA Located under the rear seat. |
|
ATLAS Located outside, in the water tank compartment |
Preventive Measures:
-
- Maintain Heat: Keep the campervan interior warm enough to prevent the valve from activating.
- Regular Checks: Inspect the antifrost valve regularly for proper functioning while on Trip.
